The Volunteer meets his/her potential Ward.
If there is a good match, the Volunteer Guardian meets with his/her court appointed attorney, court documents are prepared; a hearing date is set.
The Volunteer Guardian attends the hearing at Probate Court with the Guardian’s Court Appointed Attorney and the UCVGP Executive Director.
If the guardianship is awarded, guardianship papers are issued to the Volunteer Guardian and the guardianship begins.
